In OHIO. Local turneys. Back in the mid 70s. Anyone remember Terry Jones? or JIM Fernelli (THE FURN)? Where are they?

I started playing in college. That was back in 1989. I saw these two guys going at it and I was amazed at how they could control the ball. Since then I've been playing almost non stop.

Started playing foosball during the  millineum year... how I got hooked I forgotten dee!! Cannot recall.

Started in Cyberjacks, Penang,  around 4 years ago. I start playing foos because I had nothing better to do when I skipped my tuitions last time. LOL.

Started about 2 years+ ago. That was when I came to KL and found a tornado table in my cousin's house!!!!!! Started playing more seriously after being trashed left, right and center by my cousin.

Started on Lowen B4 Tornado came to PG.... about 5 yrs back... Use to play for beer in Modestos :)

Started playing bout 3 years ago.. kinda picked it up by hanging out in Cyberjacks :p

Revelino started playing end 98 on a Lowen table in Breakers pub in Ampang. He moved on to Tornado early 99 in Mirage and has been playing there since. Was introduced to the Tornado by Thomas Lok.

I started playing foosball in Penang at this place called Zulus. I got addicted immediately and spent most of my time with other players like Kevin Heng, Tak Kheong figuring shots. Never really took it seriously till 2 years ago when is tarted hanging out in this palce in damansara called Barcode. There i met all the pros and got yelled at and bullied enough to make me learn more. Now all i can think about is the game and how to try and beat the pros.

Used to hang out a lot in Arango's 1 Utama. Learned a push brush then. Stopped playing when it closed down. Started again this year when they placed a table in Sunway and I couldn't resist just watching by the sidelines!

Veteran Phil Kennedy or vegabros2, as he is popularly known in Yahoo!Foosball has this to say on how he started foosing, "Started playing foosball in 1971 in Dallas, Texas. A buddy of mine invited me to a foosball tournament and I was hooked."

Here's how Mohan started foosing: It all took place at a place called Matahari in Tmn. SEA, PJ, back in late '97. A Tornado table was brought in... n I said "Who plays this game?"

While working in Modesto's Bangsar in 1998, Nik Azwaa used to play after work just to relax. He was also was a regular at Racks Cafe from the day it opened till the day it closed down. Took the game seriously after constant thrashing from Syazman, Krishan, Dani & Ken at Racks. Wanna bet if he got his revenge... :-)

Those whom have foosed with Kenny will know how dextrous and deadly he is from the back... As to how he started foosing, he has this to say, "Me bro got me in to it... bout when i was 16...".

Hussein started playing foosball long time ago but it was in PoolZone end of 98 where he started taking the game seriously after getting thrashed badly during one of the M7 heats that year.

Cyrus as he is popularly known, started playing foosball in Cyberjacks, Penang. According to him, he was never serious at that time and was just spinning and then doing palmroll... that is until he came to KL.

Edgar started playing on the Lowen table in Modestos, Bangsar, sometime back in 1997. Just barely 3 months after Shaul and Sunil started. He decided to try his hand on the Tornado about 8 mths back in Barcode.

Shaun Lung started playing back in 1999 in Pool Zone in Subang Jaya. He met players like Poh Seng and Hussein Amoodi there. "But it was Hussein Amoodi that really brought me into the game after FM 2000," he says.

Joanne started foosing in Penang about one and a half years ago. She has since appeared in quite a few tournaments and is really a fooser to watch out for.

Started back in 96 and known as "Number 99" at one time, Kevin can boast one of the fastest snake in Malaysia. When asked on what he thinks about foosball, he expertly avoided the question and answered, "I got no life. That is about all."

Calvin started foosing Dec 1997 when he first saw "Ah Boy" play. The sound of the ball slamming into the goal was the main attraction. He started playing seriously (as a professional addict) since mid 1998.

Mrs Ben Tan has this to say about how she started foosing, "In Wasteland. Ben played the game, so I am tired of being a bystander... I hate to watch football, but after a game or two of foosball, one thing lead to another... things went out of hand! ...resulted in an addiction of this blardy game!"

Aunnie started off in Donmark. She has this to say, "Nothing else to do, I don’t drink, I don’t play pool that well, so I guess, foosball was the choice for me back then. Got hooked on badly. Back then I was flying too often, I guess I needed a sport to kill my boredom and also get more friends.. Foosball is a very interesting game, just like the friends that I made too! cheers..."

Those who knows Sara will know that she started playing foosball years ago in Time Out and has played foosball ever since (in almost practically all foosball joints in the Klang Valley!)

Oliver started playing in Time Out pub in the late 1996. It was Lowen then. He used to frequently play in places like Gotham City, Wasteland, Donmark and Modestos. In March 1997, he switched to Tornado and was hooked into this sport by Henry Long & Ng Eu Hock. His first taste of tournament was the Mild Seven tournament in 1997 and has never looked back since...

"Bang! Bang!" The sound of the goals were what's gotten Ray, Sean and Ben interested in foosball while playing pool in Donmark. They watched Thomas and Boy duking it out on the Tornado and that was how it started. On Sept 27, 1997, they marched into Wasteland and was trashed left, right and centre. From there on, Ray digged out his savings and started pumping into the coin-slots nightly till the next morning!

"Bang! Bang!" The sound of the goals were what's gotten Sean, Ray and Ben interested in foosball while playing pool in Donmark. They watched Thomas and Boy duking it out on the Tornado and that was how it started. On Sept 27, 1997, they marched into Wasteland and was trashed left, right and centre. From there on, Sean learned, practiced, refined and honed his skills and took his revenge on Terence... =)

Here's what young boy Alex has to say about how he started foosing, "Ermm.. I watched people played the game and I thought it was a dumb game. Curiosity killed the cat, I tried it... and it killed my life saving! I first played foosball in Zulu’s Penang. Played with my friend in Penang, due to a sudden rush adrenalin to play the game, I thrashed him though both of us know NUTS about foosball... the rest is history since..!"

When asked about what he thinks of foosball and how he started, Thomas has this to say, "Foosball?.. I guess I like it very much. I started foosball in 1996. Lowen was the deal, then I met KANASAI Oliver, at the pub I managed; Donmark. We were THE guys for foosball in Donmark. Came along this 3 guys on superbikes, from Petaling Jaya, they are Ben, Ray & Sean. Not to mention Anna, Ben’s lovable wife."

At one time, Albert was actually "hanging" like a foosman on a rod in a Mild Seven promotion poster. This is what he has to say about himself, "Started when I was handling the Mild Seven Championship 97. Went down to U.S as an organizer. I saw them played and I was impressed. I decided to play a few rounds with William Mun. Spend about USD 100.00 for that duration of stay. Went back home and continued playing and played pretty well. Got hooked on the game, practice makes perfect."

I think everyone knows who this fooser is right?? I remembered that there was a complain about a mysterious fooser who was in Malacca one weekend trashing other players. LOL... so again, I delved into my resourceful archive *ahem* and managed to dig out some information about him. Now you can check out his profile too.. :-)
